The latest update to RecruitPack has changed the way you request ads to be placed on the paid job boards. The “Request Publication” button has gone from the Edit Jobs and Screening Questions pages. It is now accessed on the Jobs tab at “Add Placement Service: Paid Job Boards”. On that page you can request publication for a new ad or request changes to an ad already running.
In its place on the Edit Jobs and Screening Questions pages, a new advisory panel, “Free Job Board Status”, tells if the job has been sent out to the free job boards and, if not, why it hasn’t.
Posting to the free job boards is done automatically for you provided sufficient detail is provided in the job. An automatic feed of your Job Ad goes to the Free Job Aggregator Boards (up to 24 of them!) when a Job is Publicly Visible, is in Apply status, has a Postcode and has a Open Date within the last 30 days.
Publication, updates and removals occur to a schedule determined by the Aggregator, some (e.g. Indeed) within an hour or so. Others take a little longer. LinkedIn feed is not guaranteed to be published. It will be surfaced from time to time only at their discretion. A few Aggregators require a subscription (e.g. CareCareers, SportSeeker, ApplyDirect, Reffind, Indeed Promoted)
